Why do some of our Tweets carry more weight than others?

We tried to find out the tweets that have made the greatest retweets in the past 24 hours. Below, we show six.

* Demetria Lovato's "HOW COOL ARE MY NAILS?!!?!" have been retweeted 8,387 in the past 24 hours.

At the first position, there sure is something about weired looking nails - especially for the ladies.

* Coldplay's Tweet of Chris Martin performing "Atlas at Monday's Hollywood Film Awards" takes second position at the list in the past 24 hours after it was retweeted 1.549 times.

Don't we all love Coldplay?

* Russell Brand's Tweet "Modern Monarchy" with a photo of Prince William seated on a chair carried through the street by 8 strong men has been retweeted 1,447 times in the past 24 hours.

It won the comic the third position of retweets that have passed the thousand mark in that one day.

* Lewis Hamilton's Tweet "Namaste India!! So happy to be here. First thing I saw on the motorway..haha" came 4th with a photo of a Formula1 car being transported on a truck at 1325 Retweets.

They certainly treat these cars a bit differently in some places.

* Premier League's tweet "ON THIS DAY in 2004, Man Utd ended Arsenal's record-breaking run of 49", comes 5th with a distant 790 Retweets.

* Olly Murs‏'s tweet "Great to be @ManUtd tonight but even better meeting Mr Moyes after the win" took 6th with 409 retweets in the past 24 hours.
