While in Royal Greenwich, The Mayor met the Leader of the Royal Borough, Cllr. Denise Hyland, and Duncan Souster of Jubilee Sailing aboard British Tall Ship `Tenacious' -  one of the participating vessels at the Festival.

The Tall Ships Festival has grown from a few ships taking part in the first few years to its recent size of 50 ships for the 2014 event.
