Woolwich, London: by WO Staff

Upon arrival, the Royal Arsenal Festival Village is beehive of several interesting activities, running simultaneously.

There are so many interesting things going on there you would not fall short. And that is besides the usual tourism points on the Arsenal, which are also open.

* The Tall Ships Royal Arsenal Festival Village is currently a beehive - with so many activities for adults and children to choose from.

Besides our updates on Twitter, we bring you below some of the photos taken at the festival village and why, if you have not yet been there, perhaps you should try not to miss out.

The festival runs till Tuesday, the 9th of August.

You don't have to be a captain to look like one. The Crew at official Merchandise stand showed their delight at the event. And the price of the Captains Cap has been reduced to £5.00, so go take advantage.

The Human Statue was on display on Powis Street. Did you notice how rigidly he stood?

An eight year old gets training on how to navigate a ship in full sail. Two giant fans simulated wind for the sails. And the robot ship is remote controlled from a hand device.

The Royal Guards On Parade was a spectacle of its own. And with their real weapons pointed, we took cover, haha.

All roads lead to the pier: The Tall Ships Royal Arsenal Festival Village was a beehive-so many activities for adults and children to choose from. And the road to the pier  showed how busy.

A child grapples with floating cards inside the Lebara cyclone cubicle. Notice how he is watched closely by the crew. The price must be won, and he must earn it.

So much fun and so many activities for adults and for children, you will never be in want. But if you have not found time to be there, don’t worry, the festival lasts till Tuesday, 9th.
