Woolwich Online Visit Royal Arsenal Festival Village

Woolwich, London: by WO Staff

JR Tolkien which visited for the promotional week of the festival in April, came in this afternoon.

At the Festival Village in Royal Arsenal, there are presently long queues of people waiting to buy tickets. But there are numerous attractions for visitors to discover. And many more stalls are being erected.

At site, we saw titled official event sponsor, Labara Mobile. The Lebara crew said they are ready and set to welcome visitors and showcase the Labara brand. They are installing a cyclone cubicle that will blow cards into the air for visitors to catch, with a chance to win listed items. It is a play and win thing.

There are fun-fare installations for the young and mature and even old, street food kiosks, Caribbean Jerk BBQ Oven, and an open-air sitting area, where visitors can relax or eat their food.

At Beresford Square, there is a cycle park. And just outside Dial Arch Restaurant, there are Drums, slow-turning live boat. A little further on, there is another `Swing Boats’ installation. Besides that, Climbing Trainers ‘The Reach Climbing Wall’ installation stands in wait.

Local micro-brewery start-up ‘Hop Stuff’, which is located on the Arsenal, also has their stand and products on display. Visitors can sample their freshly brewed Ales.

So if you are still waiting, wait no more. The day is here and the event and fun have begun.
