Stalker Intercepted After Report To Police Of A Man Trailing Females From Woolwich DLR

A man previously known to police have been intercepted after he was accused of trailing females arriving Woolwich from the DLR.

The report, made three days earlier said females were being followed from the DLR onto the new Royal Arsenal estate between the hours of 1800 and midnight.

Police introduced extra patrols and a day later, tracked the suspect.

Woolwich Town Centre Police Sergeant, Sgt Matt Burns tweeted that the was already known to them and had been intercepted.
 
He tweeted: "Last night we intercepted the male who's been following females from the #dlr. He is known to us, the appropriate people have been informed".
