He was a regular at the Pulse Night club in down town Orlando, Florida and was later revealed to be gay. Days before he shot and killed 49 people, he was seen drinking around the venue.
But even though his wife has been unveiled as having bee privy to his evil plan, but failed to notify authorities, a Florida gun shop owner has said they warned off FBI about the Omar Mateen, according to Fox News.
According to the story the evil IS fan tried to buy bulk ammunition and a heavy-duty body armor from his shop five or six weeks earlier and was asking for the highest level body armor.
That kind of enquiry tipped off the shop owner Robbie Abell who co-owns Lotus Gunworks in South Florida.
He reportedly knew then that this was "not a question that a normal civilian would ask." But when told the store doesn't carry that product, Mateen then started texting and talking to someone on his cell phone in a Middle Eastern-sounding language, according to Fox News.
