COVID-19 Figures Climbing As Lagos Workers And Traders Step Out After Lock-down

As workers and traders prepare to step out today, after more than a month of lock-down, official figures from the Nigeria's disease control agency, the NCDC is still on the climb.

Latest figures released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control
(NCDC) show that Nigeria has recorded 170 new cases, raising the total figure till date to 2,558 confirmed cases of the coronavirus.

Of the new figures, Lagos remains tops with 39 new cases followed by Kano with 29. Oyo is last on the list with only 1 new case.

The update show that 400 patients have been discharged while 87 have died.

The breakdown of the new cases, according to the NCDC is as follow:
39-Lagos 29-Kano 24-Ogun 18-Bauchi 15-Kaduna 12-FCT 12-Sokoto 8-Katsina 7-Borno 3-Nasarawa 2-Adamawa 1-Oyo 2558 confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria Discharged: 400 Deaths: 87
