According to the Nigerian Tribune, the director-general of NAFDAC, Professor Mojisola Adeyeye, in a statement issued on Monday, April 27, in Abuja, said these categories of protective masks are not of standard but may limit the spread of droplets.
Colourful face masks have been seen on the faces of many Nigerians, including current governor of Lagos State.
Face masks made of clothes which have poped up in the environment as many Nigerians rush to procure cheaper alternatives to medical ones.
